The joints have been strengthened, and the cane work sympathetically renewed. Each chair retains original surface marks, scuffs, and nicks commensurae with age and use. Overall, the chairs appear in good overall condition considering their age and present well.

There is some variation in the colour of the wood and sun-staining throughout the chairs commensurate with age and use. Some scratches and stains to the wooden frames. The rattan appears in good overall condition with some minor loosening, loses and marks in places. There is some wear, marks and scratches to the leather seats. There are some surface white marks throughout. Subject to these points, the set of chairs appear in good overall condition, sit firmly, and present well as a set.

The upholstery would benefit from a clean as it has fluff, lint and dust throughout. The metal legs with scratches and scuffs commensurate with use. Otherwise structurally sound.
