Lot 177

A Royal Albert Moonlight Rose patterned tea and dinner service, comprising plates, tureen, gravy boat, tea cups, saucers, salt and pepper, vases etc.  +/- 85 pieces  One egg cup has discolouration to the foot, one of the large oval meat plates has knife scratches to the base, one coffee can has a chip to the rim and another has a small amount of yellow discoloration around the handle. The milk jug and lidded sugar bowl both have some slight yellowing around the handle, a small urn shaped vase has a full length crack, small lidded vase has a discoloured lid to the interior. All items appear to be first condition and the gilding is in good condition.  All items show signs of use but nothing untoward other than the items that we have previously mentioned.

Lot 116

A Tuscan fine bone china Richelieu gilt and hand painted scroll patterned dinner service.  Three of the soup bowls have cracks.  One is broken.  One of the side plates has a large crack, one of the dinner plates is cracked.  The teapot on the inside rim has a small firing fault and a small amount of rubbed gilding.  The sugar bowl has some dark lines around the base but we are sure that this is just some dirt.  One of the tureens has some discolouration to the inside base but nothing on the exterior.  All of the teacups have dark lines around them but with a bit of effort this should rub off.

The other with multiple hairline cracks, some rim chipping. Sunderland lustre items - a coffee cup and saucer with strawberry decoration with some staining to glaze, another cup and saucer with hairline cracks.Derby imari coffee can - hairline crack through handle, staining hairline cracks/crazing. Coalport trio - coffee cup partially lacking handle, minor glaze staining to teacup handle. Royal Worceter milk-jug - stained crazing. Milk jug with impressed IEB and star mark decorated with iron-red flowerheads - extensively cracked and restuck. Similarly decorated coffee can - restored and overpainted to interior. An English porcelain coffee-can with platinum border- small footrim chip. Pearlware figure - cracked and restored through neck, lacking left arm, with associated losses and old restoration. Small Staffordshire pottery figure of a girl - cracked through and restuck. Staffordshire pottery cow spill vase - chipping to his hat and the cow's ears, crack to cow. Some typical wear and rubbing overall. Everything is visible in the catalogue illustration.
