One previous ownerRecently recommissionedThe Porsche 944 S2 was introduced in 1989, powered by a 208bhp normally aspirated, dual overhead cam 16 valve 3.0 litre version of the 944 S engine. The largest production four-cylinder engine of its time, it featured a bore of 104mm (4.1 inches) and a stroke of 88mm (3.5 inches). The 944 S2 also received a revised gearbox to better suit the 3.0 litre engine. The 944 S2 had the same rounded nose and a rear valance found on the turbo model. The manual transmission cars quoted performance figures of a six seconds 0-97km/h acceleration time, (0-100 km/h being achieved in 6.8 seconds) and a top speed of 240km/h (150mph).Amazingly showing no former registered keepers, this Porsche 944 S2 presents a rare opportunity for the winning bidder to become only the second registered keeper of this unique car. Ordered and first registered on 21st September 1989 by Mr. George Woloszczuk of London, the supplied original order invoice shows the car was specified in Alpine White with black and white pinstripe cloth electric seats, air conditioning, removable roof and door panel inserts as well. Invoices in the history file show servicing bills from Porsche West London amongst others. Presenting well and benefiting from having just been recommissioned after a period of inactivity, a new MoT test certificate valid through until April 2026 is present, making the car ready to be enjoyed. Consigned by Will Penrose Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead. Without a number plate this vehicle will need to be transported from the auction, (although it runs and drives very well). If you need help in this regard, please just ask a member of staff. -ONLY ONE PRIOR REGISTERED KEEPER-RECENTLY RECOMMISSIONED-UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY
• UK right hand drive matching numbers example • No expense restoration by MC Wilkinson to SAYER specificationThe Jaguar E-Type Coupé is one of the most iconic and desirable classic cars ever produced. When the Jaguar E-Type was introduced in 1961, it stunned the world with its sleek, aerodynamic design, high performance, and relatively affordable price compared to other sportscars of its era. Designed by Malcolm Sayer, the E-Type's curvaceous bodywork was inspired by the company's racing heritage, particularly from the D-Type, and was lauded for its beauty, with the highest compliment being paid by Enzo Ferrari. The Series I is often considered the purest form of the E-Type with its lightweight monocoque construction and independent suspension, the E-Type could reach a top speed of 150mph, making it one of the fastest cars of its time. The interior of the Series I E-Type is just as impressive, featuring leather seats, toggle switches, and a stylish dashboard that oozes vintage charm. Its disc brakes, advanced for the time, gave the car impressive stopping power to match its speed. Today, the Jaguar E-Type Coupé is highly prized among car enthusiasts and collectors, a symbol of British automotive excellence and a timeless design masterpiece. This stunning example of a Series I E-Type Fixedhead Coupé 4.2 litre is presented in Opalescent Blue with a contrasting blood red leather trim. Subject to no ordinary restoration, this is one of the few cars restored by Mike Wilkinson of MC Wilkinson to his ‘SAYER standards’ which in his own words is a no expense spared process for any client.A UK right hand drive matching numbers example, the body was fully restored by MC Wilkinson to give the car, in effect, a brand-new show standard bodyshell. The floors, inner sills and outer sills were all Zinctec panels and the engine frames were also brand new to ensure the car's bodywork was restored to the highest standard possible before the shell was then repainted to ‘show quality’ inside and out prior to its mechanical rebuild. During the mechanical rebuild the engine, gearbox and differential were all rebuilt, the exhaust system replaced for a stainless steel item with six branch manifolds to suit all coupled to Denis Welsh fast road cams which were comprehensively set up on a rolling road by a SU Carb Specialist. The car had alloy uprated front brake calipers with new integral rear brake conversion, Sayer specification handling kit, full rebuilt show quality rear axle, fully rebuilt radiator with modern super-core, original alternator fully rebuilt, upgraded heater system, new fuel tank, triple plated chrome work throughout before being fully retrimmed to concourse standard. This restoration was all completed in 2017 and within the paperwork file is a letter from Mike Wilkinson confirming the cars restoration and standards, in his own words ‘the car is in effect a brand-new E-Type restored to our Sayer standard with no expenses spared, this is without question one of the finest E-Types we have restored’.This is a stunning example of a car that would have cost in excess of double our top estimate to create and having covered little over 5,000 miles since its rebuild at the hands of some of the country’s leading specialists. Viewing is highly recommended, don’t be fooled…this is no ordinary restoration. • Fitted with a V8 engine• Has power steering fitted• Chrome bumper conversionThe MGB was first introduced in May 1962 as a direct replacement for the MGA. Ken Costello saw the possibility of fitting the larger aluminium 3528cc Rover P5B engine into the MGB GT having been sure that the handling and braking could be made to match the much-improved performance; not that it needed significant changes as the V8 weighed in at around 40 pounds lighter than the four-cylinder iron blocked engine it replaced. Space was not a problem as the car had originally been designed for fitment of a V4 that was never produced. It was not until two years after the first Costello car that MG decided to follow suit. Due to their popularity and reliability, the club support is excellent with many still on the road especially as their fixedhead cousins are still very affordable. This 1979 registered MGB was originally built for the U.S. and was repatriated to the U.K. in 1997. Upon arrival in the U.K. this MGB Roadster was stripped and restored. It was changed to right hand drive guise and a V8 engine from a Rover SD1 fitted. A great addition to this lovely MGB is power steering and chrome bumpers. It was repainted in Aston Martin Tudor Green which is complemented by a black interior. Whilst probably not for the purest, this MGB Roadster is a great specification and offers plenty of fun. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 1st April 2026 (with no advisories). A comprehensive history folder accompanies this Roadster. MGs’ are well supported by several specialists resulting in a motorcar that is, not only straight forward to maintain but also great fun to drive.
