There are some scratches, particularly to the surfaces and the edges, commensurate with age and use. Some lightening to the wood and rubbing to the surface, particularly to the largest table. Some minor wear, staining and loses to some of the ply in places. The tables appear to have been revarnished at some point.

Gilbert Watrous (American, 1918-1991) for Heifetz Lighting Co., a magnetic table lamp, c.1950s, enamelled metal, 70cm long fully extended 61cm high fully extendedThe model for this lamp is based on the award-winning magnetic floor lamp designed by Watrous for the 1950-1951 MoMA lamp design competition. Condition ReportStructurally sound. The lamp is wired with a UK three-prong plug although has not been tested for use. The magnetism is functional to connect the base to the top. There is surface marks, loses, marks, and scratches to the enamel throughout. There are scratches and marks to the metal frame.

Condition ReportStructurally the desk appears sound. There are scuffs, scratches, and marks to the wood as expected commensurate with age and use. The wood appears to have been lightly revarnished at some point. There appears to be some areas of possible refilling to the table top where there are areas of different colours (please see further images).
