JAR: A PAIR OF RESIN 'TICKLE ME FEATHER' EARCLIPSOf stylised feather design, in purple resin and 18K gold, signed JAR, numbered, with maker's mark, French assay mark, with maker's pouch, length 6cmJoel Arthur Rosenthal is one of the most exclusive and sought-after jewellery designers in the world, and yet, he remains a mystery to many. Founder of JAR, Rosenthal is known for his reclusive nature and limited production, making his creations highly coveted. His boutique in Paris's prestigious Place Vendôme doesn't advertise its presence with flashy signage or displays. Instead, the doors open only to a select few, such as Princess Caroline of Monaco, Ann Getty, Marella Agnelli and Princess Firyal of Jordan, ensuring that his work stays reserved for an elite clientele. A New York City native, Rosenthal never intended to enter the world of jewellery. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in art history and philosophy, he moved to Paris and opened a needlepoint shop. Though his business began slowly, his experiments with unusual colours of yarn attracted the custom of designers for Hermès and Valentino. It was through one of these clients, who asked him to design a mount for a gemstone, that Rosenthal's path toward jewellery design was set in motion. His growing fascination with fashion led him back to New York, where he worked at Bulgari's Fifth Avenue store. However, it was his love for gemstones that eventually drew him back to Paris in 1977, where he and his partner, Swiss psychiatrist Pierre Jeannet, opened an exclusive boutique. While JAR's name remained relatively unknown outside of Paris for years, his 2002 exhibition at London's Somerset House showcasing 400 of his pieces brought his work to global attention. A perfectionist, JAR shuns mass production and commercial trends, opting instead for an almost secretive, highly selective approach. This dedication to artistry and exclusivity culminated in a major retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2013, making him the first living jeweller to be honoured with a solo exhibition there. JAR's designs are celebrated for their daring use of unconventional gemstones, materials and striking colour combinations. His jewellery, often inspired by nature, transforms ordinary elements such as flowers, butterflies, and wildlife into intricate works of art. His mastery of materials like titanium and aluminium, paired with his innovative ombré colour schemes, adds a modern, sculptural quality to his pieces. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with only 70 to 80 jewels created annually, ensuring both exclusivity and a sense of personal connection with each client. One of her notable clients is Ellen Barkin, who in December 2006, after Revlon mogul Ronald Perelman blindsided her with divorce papers, turned the tables by selling her world-class jewellery collection at a Christie's auction in New York. The jewels, all gifts from her ex, included pieces once owned by the Duchess of Windsor and Doris Duke, but it was her 17 JAR pieces that stole the show. Highlights included a 22.76-carat thread ring and her favourite topaz, ruby, and diamond earrings, which she wore to the 2005 Vanity Fair Oscars. The auction reached $20 million, with JAR pieces such as diamond bangles and a diamond ring each surpassing $1 million. Ellen didn't just sell jewellery but a story of revenge and unapologetic glamour. JAR's influence on the jewellery world is profound. His work, blending antique techniques with modern sensibilities, has inspired a new generation of jewellers and helped re-establish high jewellery as a true art form. For nearly half a century, Joel Arthur Rosenthal has remained an elusive figure in luxury jewellery, letting his creations speak for themselves with unmatched artistry and vision.  Condition Report: For non pierced ears - with good tensionBoth numbered 29Minor signs of wear, overall in good conditionTotal gross weight approx. 17.9g

This stunning, custom-mounted GE90 composite fan blade is a piece of aerospace history. Designed for the Boeing 777, the world’s first twin-engine aircraft capable of long-haul transoceanic flights, this fan blade revolutionized jet engine technology with its pioneering use of carbon fiber composites. Developed by General Electric, the GE90 engine remains the most powerful jet engine in commercial aviation, capable of generating a staggering 115,000 pounds of thrust-enough to propel a fully loaded 777 off the ground with ease. The fan blade’s swept-back, curved design isn’t just aesthetically striking-it’s a feat of aerodynamics, allowing the engine to pull in massive volumes of air while maintaining efficiency, reducing fuel burn, and minimizing noise. Constructed from carbon fiber reinforced with a toughened epoxy matrix, this blade is twice as strong yet weighs only one-third as much as its titanium predecessors. Its advanced materials and design contribute to lighter overall engine weight, improved fuel efficiency, and quieter operation, making the Boeing 777 one of the most efficient aircraft in the sky. Now mounted on a custom pedestal, this authentic fan blade transforms into a breathtaking statement piece-a fusion of engineering ingenuity and sculptural beauty. Whether displayed in a private collection, corporate office, museum, or aviation-inspired space, this rare artifact embodies the evolution of flight and the relentless pursuit of innovation. This museum-worthy Boeing 777 GE90 fan blade is a conversation starter, a symbol of power and precision, and a tangible connection to the legacy of the Boeing 777 and modern aviation.Issued: c. 1990sDimensions: 72"H x 20"WCountry of Origin: United StatesCondition: Good

Registration – SE18 ZRKChassis No. – SCA665C03JUH25694M.O.T. – June 2025Odometer – 13,180Those that know their ancient Greek will remember that “adamas” means indestructible or unconquerable and is related to the etymology of the word diamond. There’s a reason for that. Apart from ‘SE18 ZRK’ being as rare as diamonds – only 40 Adamas Collection Wraiths were produced – it also features 88 laboratory grown diamonds in the cabin’s clock. In short, a very special example of an already incredibly exclusive Rolls-Royce. ‘SE18 ZRK’ is still in the ownership of the original buyer making this a single keeper car and one which could have well cost close to £350,000 in 2018. Just when you thought this sublime Wraith Black Badge couldn’t get any more desirable, we can report it has covered just 13,500 miles to date. ‘SE18 ZRK’ comes with a full service history with six services to date (plus the PDI) despite the miniscule mileage and is offered here with an advisory free MOT until June 2025 and the full, original book pack.Other notable attributes of ‘SE18 ZRK’s’ Adamas status is the very special spirit of ecstasy mascot. In this model it is crafted from 294 layers of aerospace-grade carbon with a weave angle of precisely 25 degrees. The iconic figure takes 68 hours to produce and sits on a special, titanium base. Inside the unimaginably luxurious cabin, the roof lining is studded with 1,340 fibre optic lights in the form of the “molecular structure of carbon as it becomes a diamond” instead of the “usual” Wraith starry sky arrangement. Mechanically, ‘SE18 ZRK’ is the usual, incredible Wraith Black Badge specification. This means a twin-turbocharged 6. 6-litre V12 engine, delivering an eye-widening 624 bhp and 643 lb-ft of torque. This is not a light car, but this is sufficient for a 0-60 mph time of just 4. 3 seconds. A seven speed, imperceptibly changing seven speed automatic transmission takes care of translating this physics defying power into forward momentum.Externally ‘SE18 ZRK’ is finished in pristine and stealthy looking, two tone Black and Morpheus Blue. Even the iconic Rolls-Royce radiator shell and vanes are finished in gloss black. That exclusive spirit of ecstasy proudly sits atop this feature reminding the lucky driver of the exclusivity of their steed. The rear hinged doors just add to the theatre and drama of this Wraith as do the 21-inch, black finished, carbon fibre composite wheels complete with 'R-R' gravity spinners. The lavish cabin is finished in black leather with distinctive accents of Cobalt Blue leather and matching stitching. Aside from the dramatic headlining treatment and that amazing diamond encrusted clock, there is a raft of exclusive and desirable attributes to relish in here. These include a multi-function steering wheel, folding infotainment screen, satellite navigation, parking sensors and cameras, and heated and ventilated electrically adjustable front seats with memory function plus much more than we can do justice to here. An incredible opportunity to acquire one of the rarest and most desirable Rolls-Royce, V12 coupes it is possible to imagine.Summary:One of just 40 Wraiths ever produced in ultra-exclusive Adamas guiseBoasting just one owner and a mere 13,500 miles to dateCompete with a full Rolls-Royce service history despite the miniscule mileage

Powered by a 577bhp 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8, it accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 198mph. While the engine output remains unchanged, the Pro features significant chassis upgrades, including adjustable coil-over suspension, carbon-fibre anti-roll bars, and dynamic engine mounts, enhancing its track performance. Aerodynamic improvements and weight reductions contribute to its agility, enabling a Nürburgring lap time of 7:04.6, six seconds faster than the standard GT R. Priced at £188,345, only 750 units were produced globally, with approximately 80 allocated to the UK.Originally registered in December 2019, this stunning Mercedes-Benz has covered a little over 6,000 miles and presents wonderfully in Titanium Grey paintwork with contrasting black Recaro seats embossed with the AMG logo.
