A 19TH CENTURY TUNBRIDGE WARE COROMANDEL WRITING BOX BY THOMAS BARTON. the cushion shaped top with perspective cube panel within tesserae mosaic stylised flower banding, opening to form a red velvet writing surface, pen well with paper knife, ink well with 8 point star top and stamp divisions with tesserae flower spray lid, swept sides with mosaic band of lilies and other flowers, 7cm high, 26cm deep and 32cm wide. CR* some minor chips to edging of lid, scratches and general wear commensurate to age, hinge in good order.
A 19TH CENTURY TUNBRIDGE WARE BOX. The hinged lid with a geometric design, enclosing a marbled effect paper lined interior, the front with a flowers and a single plush lined drawer to one side, 29cm wide, 23cm deep, 16cm high. CR* In excellent general condition, the base with new green baize and a very nice example.
