Registration – P952 HAOChassis No. – SALLDVA67VA123458M.O.T. – March 2026Odometer – 159,000‘P952 HAO’ has been in the ownership of the current vendor since May 2022, with him becoming this 90-inch’s sixth keeper at that stage. Hailing from 1997, this defender is fitted with the 2.5-litre 300Tdi engine which was an all-new unit first used in 1994. In current ownership, ‘P952 HAO’ has been serviced by the owner and much time and money has been expended maintaining the condition and usability of this Defender. ‘P952 HAO’ is offered here with a long MOT with validity until March 2026, two keys and a brand new spare tyre. Here is your chance to acquire an example of the perennially popular Defender in optimally practical van sided configuration.‘P952 HAO’ presents in non-standard Kiwi Green which represents an eye-catching update from its original blue livery. There are numerous black accents in evidence, including the roof panel and front bumper, and the Land Rover presents in a de-badged condition. A capacious, black painted alloy, safari style roof rack is fitted together with a rear access ladder. Access aiding side steps are also fitted. The cabin is usual Defender fare, which means charming utility and admiral practicality. This is finished in black and green predominantly. The vendor rates the bodywork and interior as “good,” and the paintwork as “average.”‘P952 HAO’ is fitted with well-respected 2.5-litre 300TDi turbo-diesel engine which was originally rated at around 111bhp. This is mated to the five speed manual transmission transferring power to the permanent four wheel drive system. All the usual off road paraphernalia is present including locking diffs and high / low transfer box. ‘P952 HAO’ benefits from the fitment of a galvanised chassis, a new clutch, radiator, exhaust, fuel pump and brake servo. All mechanical systems are vendor rated as “good.”In summary:A good looking Defender 90 in an interesting liveryA low owner example of this iconic off-roader with a galvanised chassisCompete with many new components and a long MOT
Registration – M41 FVCChassis No. – SAJDKALS3BR720268M.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – TBCThis exciting 1994 Daimler Double-Six is described as a barn find offered at No Reserve. Part of one man’s extensive collection, ‘M41FVC’ uses the later 6.0-litre V12 engine, producing over 310bhp for a genuine 155mph top speed when new. Records show this 30-year-old Daimler has had just six former keepers, and has been in its current stewardship for eight years. Its last MOT was completed in June 2016, where it was given a pass with just a single advisory for a nearside rear tyre worn close to the legal limit. An impressive odometer reading of 175,000 miles shows this Daimler Double-Six has been well-used and well-loved.‘M41FVC’ has an interior featuring all the Daimler refinements, including rich grey leather and wood veneer that extends to the steering wheel and instrument pack. The classic six-dial layout is another highlight – as is the stylised gold Daimler ‘D’ on the steering wheek. On the outside, the ‘D’ is replicated on the grille, while classic red Daimler logos feature on the bootlid, including the ‘Double Six’ script. The 1994-1997 Daimler Double-Six was derived from the contemporary Jaguar X300-series XJ6. The first Jaguar to be produced under Ford Motor Company stewardship, this evolution of the Jaguar XJ40 represented a £200 million investment. The design was beautifully evolved with a twin-headlamp design, while quality and reliability were much-improved. The Daimler Double-Six was the range-topping version, carrying the codename X305 along with the Jaguar XJ12 version. Design highlights included lashings of chrome, heated front seats and special wood veneer. In Summary:Barn-find 1994 Daimler Double-Six offered at No ReserveInterior with all the usual Daimler refinementsJust six former keepers
Recently recommissioned by CKL DevelopmentsRecommissioning included major service and gearbox overhaulThere are cars that always give the aura of undiluted power. The Shelby Mustang is a high-performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby American from 1965 to 1970. For 1967, the GT350 carried over the K-Code high performance 289 powerplant with a 'COBRA' aluminium hi-rise. The GT500 was then added to the line-up. These later cars carried over few of the performance modifications of the 1965-66 GT350s although they did feature more cosmetic changes. The 1967 Shelby Mustangs got progressive rate springs that were comfortable on the motorways but stiffened as they were compressed to give good handling. A special front anti-roll bar was fitted along with Gabriel adjustable shocks. The new big block Shelby Mustang was the GT500. It was powered by Ford’s hydraulic lifter 10:1 compression, 428ci, V8 with the long duration, high-lift police interceptor camshaft. It was rated at a conservative 355bhp but actually pumped out some 50hp more while generating 420lb-ft of tyre scorching torque. Power front disc, rear drum brakes and power steering were mandatory options along with roll-bar mounted inertia reel shoulder harnesses and fold down rear seats. The 1967 Shelby Mustangs came with the full complement of scoops as well as unique fiberglass bonnet, nose and rear boot. There really was nothing that could surpass the Shelby GT500; it over-powered the competition both on and off the track. The 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500 evocation we have for sale presents in splendid condition. The car had been in storage for a number of years, however it has recently been recommissioned by marque specialist CKL Developments in East Sussex. Work carried out included a major service and a gearbox overhaul. Additional work involved overhauling a brake caliper, bleeding the brakes, draining the cooling system and replenishing the anti-freeze, specialist repair to the water temperature gauge, the list is endless. The nett result of all this work is not just a £13,100 invoice but a Shelby GT500 Eleanor that is very well sorted and is ready to go. The 305ci (5.0 litre) engine starts on the button and to be expected sounds fantastic. On the road this Shelby drives really well and certainly attracts admirers. The grey paintwork is complemented by black stripes and a full ‘Eleanor’ bodykit. The black interior is in very good condition and the Carroll Shelby stitching in the headrests is a nice finishing touch. This is a great car that would be loads of fun at classic car events and shows. Offered at a realistic estimate given the condition and recent expenditure. Consigned by Stewart Banks. Registration No: VY 8502 Chassis No: 623 MOT: ExemptPowered by a water-cooled side-valve JAP V-Twin 998cc engineAero coachwork, thought to have been restored in the 1980sIn current ownership since 2018Started readily and both ran and drove well during the recent photography sessionAn ingenious concept, HFS Morgan built his first three-wheeler in 1909. Based around a tubular steel chassis frame, the design's low centre of gravity and advanced 'sliding pillar' independent front suspension endowed it with superlative roadholding. Progressively developed, the single rear-wheel-driven platform played host to a variety of JAP, Matchless, Blackburne, Anzani and Ford powerplants over the years (though, the prototype used a Peugeot unit). Fearsome competition cars, Morgan three wheelers driven by the likes of HFS himself, Clive Lones and Harold Beart acquitted themselves well on race circuits and trial stages alike (Mrs Gwenda Stewart recorded 115.66mph during a record run at Montlhery in 1930). The Aero derivative soon became a favourite among sporting motorists, and with stark bodywork, impressive power-to-weight ratio and nimble handling was capable of embarrassing far more expensive machinery. Interest in Morgans of this period has never waned and, if anything, increased in recent times - the company’s inspired decision to create a modern three-wheeler having brought the early cars to the attention of a new audience.Manufactured new in 1927, chassis number ‘928’ is powered by a 998cc JAP V-Twin side-valve, water-cooled engine, that features a total loss oil system with dashboard control, allowing a release of one drip of oil every few seconds which passes down a copper tube and into the base of one cylinder from where it lubricates the engine internals. Utilising a two-speed drive, consisting of two-chain drives to the rear wheel engaged by a dog clutch operated by a hand lever on the right side of the cockpit. The front wheels are braked by a lever in the centre of the cockpit with a ratchet ‘handbrake’, and conventional clutch pedal and rear brake operating a leather belt on the rear wheel brake drum. Understood to have been fully restored during the 1980s in the Aero coachwork in which it is presented today, the vendor acquired the Aero in May 2018 from a bereavement sale, when it had been off the road for two years due to a petrol leak under the dashboard.Since then, the vendor returned the Morgan to the road, now affectionately named ‘Frog’ and he informs that ‘VY 8502’ has run reliably and sweetly throughout his ownership. The bodywork, which is presented in Dark Green with Black wings, appears to have been built and finished to a high standard with a good paint finish and pretty detailing, and the Black interior presents nicely too. In the vendor's ownership, the rear wheel spokes have been re-tightened, and a new tyre and tube fitted. Starting readily and both running and driving well during the recent photography session, these Morgan 3 Wheelers have a unique character and are well supported by an active and enthusiastic club. Registration No: APL114H Chassis No: 4E66C297094Peter Knight Racing V8 engineHTP FIA Appendix K papers until 2026All metalwork was subject of a "bare metal" restorationFIA-approved fuel storage and a plumbed-in FIA-approved fire extinguisherFIA-legal ventilated front disc brakes with 4-pot callipersAmong the most dramatic race cars to ever take the chequered flag, Ford Galaxies have been thrilling drivers and spectators alike since the 1960s when Holman & Moody prepared examples ruled NASCAR. More recently the full-sized Ford has been a consistent crowd pleaser and winner at the Goodwood Revival.Granted a FIA Historic Technical Passport in 2016 which remains valid until next year, ‘APL 114H’ boasts an impressive (and expensive) specification. The steel bodywork was treated to a ‘bare metal’ restoration and is augmented with GRP boot, bonnet, doors, front wings and bumpers. Designed, fabricated and installed by Harry Hockley using T45 to FIA requirements, the roll cage dominates a ‘bare bones’ interior which also features race seats, associated harnesses and Stack digital instruments. Built by Peter Knight Racing, the 427ci (7-litre) V8 engine sports ‘Police Interceptor’ heads with big valves and breathes via a Tony Law manifold. Developing an estimated c.517bhp, it is allied to a ‘Super T10’ gearbox. The rear axle was (a) fitted with a new 3.5:1 ‘locker’ differential and racing half shafts and (b) altered to permit speedier tyre changes. The propshaft was renewed and the suspension uprated with stiffer springs, nylon bushes and adjustable dampers. A FIA-compliant fuel cell and plumbed-in fire extinguisher were added. The upgraded braking system comprises ventilated discs gripped by 4-pot callipers at the front and drums with ventilated backplates and competition linings to the rear. The front windscreen is laminated glass with all other windows utilising 4mm polycarbonate. This very exciting lightweight proposition has been in storage of late. As such, the vendor is unsure whether the fire extinguisher, seats and belts are still in date. Offered for sale at a fraction of its build cost, moulds for the Ford’s lightweight panels plus a set of spare wheels will be made available for collection. Registration No: BEH 504C Chassis No: B9472725 MOT: ExemptUnderstood to be 1 of just 3,763 MK1 cars (the vast majority of which were built to LHD specification)Acquired by the vendor, an accomplished engineer, as a stalled restoration projectKnown to the Sunbeam Tiger Owners' Club for many years and pleasingly retains its original 260ci engineDiscretely uprated cooling system and 14-inch Minilite-style alloys but otherwise essentially stockCredible but unwarranted 73,000 milesAccompanying history file includes photos of the restoration / reassemblyThe Sunbeam Tiger was conceived in the West Coast of the USA and inspired by the success of the AC Cobra - the result of mating an American small block V8 engine with the British AC Ace. Rootes American Motors Inc. saw the potential for inserting the same powerplant - Ford's 4.2-litre (260 cu in) 'Windsor' unit - into the nose of the stylish but rather pedestrian Sunbeam Alpine. Carroll Shelby was duly commissioned to build the prototype and the rest is history. The basic layout of the Alpine was retained and the car featured independent suspension at the front using coil springs, and a 'live' axle at the rear supported by semi-elliptic leaf springs. The 164bhp engine endowed the newcomer with a top speed of around 120mph and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of under eight seconds. A total of some 7,085 Tigers were eventually produced. Among the mere 800 or so ‘home market’ Sunbeam Tigers, chassis B9472725 was granted the Stoke-on-Trent number plate ‘BEH 504C’ during June 1965. Showing just three former keepers to its V5C Registration Document, the 2+2-seater was acquired by the last of these in 1989. Taken off the road not long after, the Sunbeam was carefully disassembled pending restoration. Work progressed as far as having the original 260ci (4.3 litre) Ford V8 engine overhauled, the bodywork repaired and the four-speed manual gearbox refurbished. Well-stored over the next three decades, the Tiger was complete when the vendor took possession during July 2023. Receipts for work done were reassuring as was the state of replacement parts. An accomplished engineer, the seller set about reassembling the Roadster and ‘double checking’ the previous works. To this end, the fuel system was rejuvenated with a new pump and lines, the electrics and instruments tested, the braking system renovated (the front discs being uprated to Princess 4-pot callipers; a popular period mod), the engine tuned (complete with uprated Edelbrock manifold and carburettor), the ignition system renewed, the cooling system upgraded (high output water pump, increased radiator size, Revotec electric fan with manual override, larger mechanical fan and bonnet louvres) and the suspension treated to new dampers (x4) and rear spring bushes (fittings are in place for a Panhard rod and tramp bars but neither have been installed). Thoroughly stripped, the bodywork was painted Giallo Fly, sound deadening added to the floors, a fire extinguisher and new seat belts added and the replacement hood and screen professionally fitted. Strating readily and running well during our recent photography session, ‘BEH 504C’ has been known to the Sunbeam Tiger Owners’ Club for decades. Decidedly unusual as a ‘home market’ Tiger with matching chassis and engine numbers, it is offered for sale with an original workshop manual, Alpine owners’ handbook (for hood raising / lowering instructions), emergency tyre repair kit, correct jack and wheel brace plus assorted restoration photographs and invoices. Styled by Ian Callum and introduced at the March 1993 Geneva Salon, the DB7 has long been regarded as a modern masterpiece. Make & Model:Peugeot , J7 Date of Reg:NMA925T Colour:Cream cc:1343 Fuel Type:Petrol Mileage:72800 Transmission:manual Summary:This Peugeot J7 dates from 1979 but was only UK-registered in November 2016 after being imported from France, since when it has been used for a catering, wedding and afternoon tea business. Its odometer shows 72,800km (45,236 miles) and its last MoT expired in March 2022 after being tested the previous year at an indicated 72,365km. However, as an historic vehicle it is now MoT-exempt. While it runs and drives, it hasn't been used for a while and the brakes are described as sticky (as is the handbrake). While it hasn't been restored, it was internally converted for catering and received external paint during 2016. The vendor tells us that it has been regularly serviced and recently had a new radiator, some suspension bushes and exhausts. The fridges are said to be working fine, along with the water pump, heater and sink. The coffee machine needs a clean/flush but also works. The Peugeot comes with a spare wheel/tyre. Paperwork includes the V5C, some French paperwork, the book pack with Peugeot dealership directory, Paris map and service book, some technical info, import documentation and a November 2024 invoice for a battery.
