Pair of early George V silver three light candelabra with twin branches, urn shaped candle holders and tapering hexagonal stems, on hexagonal pedestal bases, separate sconces (Sheffield 1913) Harrison Brothers & Howson. 43cm overall height.One stick is in reasonably good condition, some surface wear, scratching and dents, drip pans are bent, no holes or major damage, sits level, other stick does not sit square and is badly damaged, stem is completely broken where it joins pedestal base, one candle holder has also been poorly repaired and the joint moves. Both bases are loaded and covered with green baize. All parts are marked on both.

A pair of Royal Doulton blue and gilt ground hand-painted urn shaped vases and covers, the panels decorated with rural scenes by J H Plant, No'd to base "RA6601", 31.5 cm high (2 plus covers) CONDITION REPORTS Both are incredibly dirty and in need of a good clean. One has damage to one of the "jewels" on the rim and some damage to the gilded area on the foot and some crazing to the glaze, particularly on one handle. One lid has been damaged to the main area and has been restored. Otherwise both have general wear and tear conducive with age and use, in need of a good clean - see images for more details

A Royal Albert Moonlight Rose patterned tea and dinner service, comprising plates, tureen, gravy boat, tea cups, saucers, salt and pepper, vases etc. +/- 85 pieces One egg cup has discolouration to the foot, one of the large oval meat plates has knife scratches to the base, one coffee can has a chip to the rim and another has a small amount of yellow discoloration around the handle. The milk jug and lidded sugar bowl both have some slight yellowing around the handle, a small urn shaped vase has a full length crack, small lidded vase has a discoloured lid to the interior. All items appear to be first condition and the gilding is in good condition. All items show signs of use but nothing untoward other than the items that we have previously mentioned.
Circa 1915The domed shade in translucent amber colored glass cased with an opaque white glass lining, engraved on the fitter rim L.C.T.; the urn form base raised on incurved legs and ending in a stepped incurved square foot, numbered on the underside 2397. Height 14 5/8 inches; height of shade 4 1/2 inches, diameter 7 1/8 inches.Provenance:James D. A NEAR PAIR OF ORMOLU MOUNTED BLUE JOHN AND FLUORSPAR EWERS PROBABLY FRENCH, 19TH CENTURY 17cm high and 16.5cm high Condition Report: With wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. Both with wear and loss to gilding of surfaces. Characteristic yellowing to internal matrix visible under UV. Blue John probably repaired at bottom of urn. Fluorspar urn probably reduced slightly in height, with slight loss to the base but remounted within frame, however not completely straight. Both with screwed apertures to base, one filled, which may indicate that these were formally mounts from a larger piece. Both with slight further losses to extremities of stone mounts. HENRI LÉON THIÉBAUT (1855-1899), A LARGE BRONZE URN 'LA MER' LATE 19TH CENTURY With pseudo-handle in the form of a merman rising to embrace an nude arching nymph, in his arms, the other in the form of a rearing sea creature, body with a seascape featuring a merman and nymph amongst the waves and birds flying above, a series of scallop shells encircling the foot, with original separate metal interior liner, signed to cast H THIEBAUT and with foundry mark THIEBAULT FRERES PARIS 66.5cm high, approximately 45.5cm wide across the body Henri Léon Thiébaut was the son of Victor Thiébaut and co-director of the Thiébaut Frères foundry which undertook casting work for Sarah Bernhardt, Rodin and Camille Claudel. In this design he would seem to be drawing work from another sculptor Auguste Ledru for whom the firm produced figural urns. A SET OF EIGHT ANGLO-DUTCH WALNUT AND MARQUETRY CHAIRS EARLY 18TH CENTURY, THE ARMCHAIRS LATER The vase shaped splats with marquetry cartouches, each centred with carnations in an urn surrounded by tendrils, the drop in seats with Imperial yellow silk damask upholstery, the feet carved with an unusual and distinctive 'shoe' The side chairs 107cm high, 56cm wide, 51cm deep; the armchairs 111cm high, 66cm wide, 58cm deep Provenance: Probably Matthias Kerrison at Hoxne Hall (afterwards Oakley Hall) Eye, Suffolk; Thence by descent to Lady Bateman, at Oakley Hall (one standing in the Entrance Hall in 1908), possibly sold with the Estate of the late Lady Bateman, Christie's, 10th July 1919 Literature: H. Avray Tipping, 'Oakley Park, Suffolk, A Seat of Dowager Baroness Bateman,' Country Life, 4 January 1908, vol XXII, pp.18-26. The present lot most likely formed part of a set of twenty-four chairs, twelve of which were acquired by Lord Leverhulme at the sale of the contents of Oakley Hall, Eye, Suffolk on the 10th July 1919. The Leverhulme examples were then sold in the 2001 Thornton Manor sale by Sotheby's.
ARR Elsie Frederica Stokes (1904-1974) two woolwork embroideries, garden with sundial and flowers in an urn on a pedestal, one inscribed to reverse ‘Designed + Worked by Elsie F Stokes 1947’ and the other circa. 1950, 30cm x 22cm and 25cm x 21.5cm (2) Elsie Frederica Stokes (1904-1974) of Churchdown, Gloucestershire was bedridden after suffering a spinal injury. She became known for her needlework, and her toys were successfully retailed in a top London department store. These embroidered pictures were purchased directly from the artist by a friend and neighbour.
