Original Anri green foil labels appear on most bases, with some bearing hand-titled names such as Waterman and Happy One. Titled Two Great Events, the ad draws a parallel between the historical significance of Jamestown and the innovation of the Waterman's Ideal pen. Featuring colorful lithographic illustration of the Jamestown Exposition and detailed renderings of the pen models, the ad emphasizes the Clip-Cap design and its reliability in all environments. Published by L. E. Waterman Company, New York, with dealer locations listed at the bottom.
