CHARLES J. MCAULEY RUA ARSA (1910 - 1999)
Charles J. McAuley was a distinguished Irish landscape and seascape painter, born in Glenaan, County Antrim. A member of the Royal Ulster Academy, his work is celebrated for its sensitive depictions of the Glens of Antrim and the northern countryside. McAuley’s paintings often reflect a quiet romanticism and a deep affection for the Irish landscape.
