The scene is set against a richly draped background in jewel tones, with expressive, confident brushwork and a harmonious interplay of colour and light. Signed with initials lower right. Presented in a moulded, painted wooden frame. Image: 74.5 x 59.5 cm. Framed: 90.5 x 75.5 cm. PICTURES AND PRINTS Tuesday 16th September 2025 18:58:20 Biography SARAH SPACKMAN ROI RBA (B. 1958) Sarah Spackmann is a contemporary British painter celebrated for her still life works, characterised by bold compositions, vivid colour palettes, and a strong sense of form. She trained at Byam Shaw School of Art and Camberwell School of Art, developing a distinctive style influenced by modernist approaches to shape and colour. Her work is widely exhibited in the UK and held in private collections internationally.
