Donald Teskey is one of Ireland’s leading contemporary artists, celebrated for his evocative interpretations of the western coastline. His works explore the tension between realism and abstraction, and are characterised by expressive brushwork and atmospheric power. A member of Aosdána and the Royal Hibernian Academy, Teskey’s art is held in major public collections including IMMA, the National Gallery of Ireland, and Limerick City Gallery
