EDWIN HAYES RHA RI ROI (1819 - 1904)
Edwin Hayes was a distinguished Irish-born marine painter who exhibited extensively in London and Dublin. A member of both the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and the Royal Hibernian Academy, he was celebrated for his dramatic seascapes, harbour scenes, and detailed depictions of coastal life. His works are held in numerous public collections, including the National Gallery of Ireland and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
