British school Circa 1805 Portrait miniature of George Robinson Jervis (1794-1807) Dated 23 April 1805 verso Watercolour and gouache on paper laid on card. GR Jervis is one of the 590 crew of HMS Blenheim which was lost without trace in 1807. This is possibly the only extant picture of any of the 590 crew. Dimensions: (Frame) 5.25 in. (H) x 4.75 in. (W) (Paper) 3 in. (H) x 2.5 in. (W)
