Arthur-Marie-Gabriel Comte du Passage (French, 1838 - 1909) Horse and Groom Trotting Circa 1881 Bronze with a rich mid to dark brown patina Signed 'C du Passage’ The present model is perhaps his best known and was cast in four sizes, a fact which emphasises its popularity amongst the buying public towards the end of the nineteenth century.
